Tues. — The 6 mil poly vapor barrier is being applied.
Tues. — A special super-sticky vapor barrier tape is used to seal the vapor barrier at all seams and around outlet boxes.
Tues. — Special “Lessco” boxes are used in the walls around electrical outlets. They provide a flange to which the vapor barrier is taped and sealed. Remember, this is Minnesota and we are trying to eliminate any interior air from getting into the wall/roof cavity and condensing.
Wed. 1:30pm — Finished installing the vapor barrier on the triangles above the 1st row of triangles.
